27 - 28 March, 2008 - APNET will organize another Copyright workshop on "The Management of Intellectual Property in the Publishing Industries" at a hotel in Accra, Ghana. This workshop will be sponsored by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
Participants will be drawn from authors, publishers, printers, booksellers, readers and law makers. Other participants will come from Nigeria, Mali, Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Sierra Leone. [ Download PDF]
31 October to 1 November 2007 - APNET organized a Copyright seminar in Accra, Ghana. KOPINOR and the Norwegian Publishers Association sponsored the seminar in Accra. Additional funds were received from SEDCO/Longman, Afram Publications and EPP Books. The theme of the seminar was, "Maximize the Benefits of Creativity - Say no to Piracy".
